The Greater Valley Area H-ealth Education Center, in collaboration with the Arizona Coalition of Military Families (ACMF) proudly presents a  training        designed to introduce the implications of post-traumatic stress disorder {PTSD}   as it relates to the soldier who is returning home from Afghanistan and/or Iraq     

 This training will discuss the recognizable signs and how healthcare professionals can apply therapeutic strategies and resources to assist the veterans and their families.                     

 

This is a Master Training event.    If you are interested in becoming a trainer, please be sure to attend!   Lead Trainer: Dr. Harold Kudler, VISN 6 Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center at Duke University Medial Center

WHO:  Social Workers, Therapists, Primary Care Providers, and any healthcare professional who may provide services tot veterans and their families.
